Privacy policy
Effective date: August 23, 2026
Monovits LLC ("Monovits," "we," "us") operates monovits.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our site or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what we need to deliver your orders and run our store, and you stay in control of the rest — including opting out of the advertising-related sharing described below.
What we collect
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
- Order information — what you bought, order value, and delivery details. Payments are handled by secure payment processors; we never see or store your full card number.
- Account information — if you choose to create an account: your login email and order history.
- Communications — messages you send us by email or through the site.
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, the pages and products you view, and how you found us, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Where it comes from: directly from you (when you order, create an account, or contact us), automatically from your device (through cookies and similar technologies), and from the service providers who run parts of our store, such as payment processors and shipping carriers.
We don't ask for sensitive personal information such as precise location or government ID numbers, and we don't use your information to infer characteristics about you. If you choose to include health-related details in a message to us — say, a question about a formula — we use them only to answer you, and never for marketing.
How we use it
- To fulfill and deliver your orders, process payments, and handle returns
- To answer your questions and provide customer support
- To send order and shipping updates
- To send marketing emails if you've signed up for them — every one includes an unsubscribe link
- To understand how the site is used and make it better (analytics)
- To advertise Monovits to people likely to be interested (see Cookies and advertising below)
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations
Cookies and advertising
Our site uses three kinds of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential — required for the cart, checkout, and security. These can't be switched off.
- Analytics — help us see which pages work and which don't.
- Advertising — we use pixels and similar tools from advertising partners such as Meta, Google, and TikTok to measure our advertising and to show ads to people who visited our site or are similar to our customers.
Some of this sharing happens in your browser through pixels, and some may happen server-to-server from our store, which means it can work even if you block cookies. For ad measurement and matching, we may share with an advertising partner: your email address and phone number, your first and last name, and your city, state, and ZIP code; the pages and products you viewed and searched for; and details of a purchase, such as what you bought and the order value. Contact details are sent in a hashed (scrambled) form, which the partner uses to match you to an account it already has. We never send your full payment card number to an advertising partner.
California law treats this advertising use as "sharing" personal information, and in some cases it may qualify as a "sale." The categories involved are identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP address, and hashed name, email, and phone number), internet activity (such as pages viewed and products browsed), commercial information (such as purchases made and order value), and approximate location (city, state, and ZIP code), disclosed to advertising networks. You can opt out at any time — see Your privacy rights below. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may break checkout.
Who we share information with
We share personal information with:
- Service providers who run parts of the store for us: Shopify (our ecommerce platform and checkout), payment processors, shipping carriers, our email service provider, and analytics providers. They're bound to use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Advertising partners such as Meta, Google, and TikTok, as described above, unless you opt out.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A successor business, if Monovits is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — your information would remain subject to commitments like the ones in this policy.
- Others at your direction or with your consent, or where needed to enforce our terms and protect our rights.
Apart from the advertising practices described above, we do not sell or share your personal information as California law defines those terms.
Your privacy rights
If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected about you in the past 12 months, and receive a copy in a portable, readily usable format
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information, with limited legal exceptions (like records we must keep for taxes)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Non-discrimination — we'll never penalize you, charge you more, or lower our service for exercising any of these rights
If you live in another state whose privacy law gives you similar rights, we'll honor them as that law requires.
To exercise any right, email care@monovits.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll verify your identity (usually by confirming control of the email tied to your orders), confirm receipt within 10 business days, and respond within 45 days. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
To opt out of advertising sale or sharing, email us as above, use the cookie preferences controls on our site, or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we treat GPC signals as a valid opt-out.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as tax and consumer-protection laws require. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, payments run through PCI-compliant processors, and access inside Monovits is limited to the people who need it. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Children
Our products are for adults, and you must be at least 18 to purchase from us. The site is not directed to children; we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we never knowingly sell or share a minor's personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the update here with a new effective date. For material changes, we'll flag the update on the site.
